In order to achieve the objectives regarding the conservation of water quality and control of the flow rate of the rivers Trancoso and Laboreiro, CARISMA proposes two actions that will enable both Spanish and Portuguese water administrations to have a common system of hydrological information. In addition, the accessibility between both banks of the rivers will be improved and ecotourism in the area will be promoted.
